School ughhhhh + hiphop heads

Some one PM school for me and tell it to get off my ass with shit to do. I got 2 powerpoints, a 20 page paper, and a 15 page research paper to do. In two weeks. KTHNX

New shit. Shot some stuff for Pat the Human and galleryCat over the weekend. PTH were all too nice, going to their show at the drink tomorrow. galleryCat/Angelo was a nut. Talking about CHooes, and other random tidbits of his life.

Also over the weekend shot Scuba Team, Moses, and galleryCat live at Moses' CD release show.

New lights

Well here it is for my not so timely updates. I have been busy with school work and photography the last few weeks. I never have time to edit my site and flickr has become my dump once again. I shot a model for her portfolio, and rented some Profoto lights. A ringlight and a head. It got me hooked, so I actually bought some AlienBees lighting. I got their ringlight, a 320 watt/second head and atheir battery for use out location. I love it, small strobes doe not do like this. I'm glad I waited to learn about lighting with the small strobes not to invest much soon. But the portrait bug bit me and i'm all about people now. Spring break is over, but summer is just that much closer here.

10,000 woot woot

Well it finally happened. I play xbox waaaaay to much. Anyways tonight I cracked the 10,000 point mark for my gamer score. I'm too much of a nerd.

Some New Updates

Remember what I said about being bad about writing in these things????? Well, I still am. Good news the last month though. Went to Arkansas and shot a few portraits up there with some freinds all around good time and good winter break before classes geared up. Boy did they gear up, I'm taking 15 hours this semester, trying to expedite my time at SMU. I don't really fit in there so much. I hear it looks good on paper though, so onward I go.
On another note I got a shot published in Digital Photographer Magazine!

So that made me excited and very happy. It is the January 2008 issue. However the magazine is an English publication and cannot be baught on U.S. shelves. So I ordered a couple of Amazon for 5 pounds, or 10 dollars.
The website is being updated as I am writing. I have just gotten done editing some of the new portraits. Hope they pop. It seems I can't find a style to stick to. I guess i'll be creative until I find one that works. www.joeyl.com has given me alot of inspiration. They guy is only 18 and has an amazing style and definatly is making some bucks photographing. Props to him for that. One last note. I bought a Wacom tablet the other day, and I don't know how I have lived without this thing my whole life. It's amazing, I suggest everyone go buy one.
